His humble nature coupled with his passion to learn new things makes him a charismatic leader who is loved by all.
Born in Maratha family in the ‘Girangaon’ area of Mumbai, he has a B. E in Electronics. His meteoric rise in the political arena is proof of his capabilities and dedication to his work. He is the youngest ever president of the Mumbai Metropolitan unit of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and has played a number of important roles in the party. He was incharge of the ‘BJP Maha Adhiveshan’ which was attended by 1.65 lacs BJP activists from all over India. He was the General Secretary for Maharashtra, President for Mumbai, All India National Executive Council Member and the incharge of Co-ordination Committee of BJP for the 12th and 13th Loksabha Election.
He is a Member of the Legislative Council of Maharashtra for the second consecutive term. His determination and hard work were instrumental in getting the ‘Mumbai Urban Transport Project’ sanctioned. He headed the delegation of Ministers for the Mumbai based Central Cabinet Development Project (MUTP) to meet the erstwhile, Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This project aimeds to improve the road and rail transportation of one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
